Accessories Screen & battery Kindle DX-G replacement?

Hello everyone,

I've got a Kindle DX-G for years and yesterday the screen was craked. I love this Kindle and dont want to let it go. I can find many screen and battery replacements on Ebay. Are they the original? If not are they ok? Could anyone know where to buy good things to replace my screen and battery?

I can see now it is not the original screen from amazon, just wonder how it is comparing to the original one?

This MAY be the part number for the Kindle DX-G, but I cannot completely verify this:

Just because the seller says it's for the DX-G, but doesn't necessarily mean it's correct. Please keep that in mind if you decide to correspond with him/her.

Before ordering a screen and battery, I suggest you open up the DX-G to make sure you can do it and to double check the part numbers for the screen and battery. If you feel you can replace the screen and battery, go for it. If not, get a new Reader.
