hi!

back when i used a Kobo Touch, there was a 'Share to Facebook' function for GetPocket articles i was reading. it seems to have now disappeared in the Kobo Aura and H2O. was this quietly dropped at some point or was there an announcement? any idea why they did this?

Facebook was dropped a couple of firmware revisions back. There was no announcement that I saw. As to why? I suspect either Facebook's ongoing privacy issues and dropping popularity and/or the somewhat arbitrary changes in their APIs may have something to do with the decision.

However Facebook is toxic and exploitive and I don't want anything I've written shared to it. Best thing Kobo did was removing that.
