Other than the Kobo Mini which is officially stuck at 3.19.5761-s and the Elipsa which is at 4.28.17925, the firmware for Kobo's touchscreen ereaders is 4.26.16704.

But the Mini does work with 4.26.16704. What I don't get is that since the current firmware does work on the Mini, why not release it officially for the Mini.

There have been reports of success with updating the firmware on the Mini but there have also been reports of odd glitches with some of the functions. Perhaps Kobo does not want to open that can of worms?
