Converting epubs to Nook
When I sideload epubs directly to my Nook gl3, they don't work. Neither the Nook reader nor Koreader can open them. But when I send them via Calibre, they open fine. What is Calibre doing to epubs when it sends them to the Nook?

Have you tried error checking the epubs before sending them to your Nook? Several online sites will run epubcheck on your ebooks. AFAIR, calibre will update the metadata when it sends the epub to your ereader. This may also correct some errors.
