Calibre 3.44 No Send to Device button
Windows 10 1903/2019-06 updates. Ipad pro IOS 12.3.1 Calibre companion latest level available.

Calibre 3.44 starts wireless connection at startup but no send to button on main menu. From Calibre companion on ipad selecting connect seems to work on the connect because starting initial sync appears but after long wait receive message- disconnected from Calibre. I just did a Calibre 3.44 update and this used to work. Any suggestions?

Send to device button (calibre) only appears when CC is connected and stabilized (the sync has finished).
You need to find out why (and cure) the disconnect is happening before you request it

It is probably your antivirus that is blocking calibre's network connections. Updating calibre could have changed it from "accepted" to a "threat".

The best way to debug this is to boot windows in safe mode, start calibre, then see if you can connect. If you can then something starting with windows, probably the antivirus, is blocking connections.
