newbie question InkPad and Google Play Books

I have searched.. honest

I'm guessing I can't make my PocketBook InkPad 3 run Google Play Books (other than through the browser) ?

I've tried sideloading an .apk but no luck (assume the InkPad isn't Android ?)

Are there any workarounds ?

That's right, Pocketbook is not Android. It cannot install .apk apps. The workaround is to get your books from other sources as epub, pdf, and djvu files.

You can buy books from Google Play, though, and read them on your Pocketbook. Assuming they all use DRM from Adobe, which the ones I bought did.

And the Mars can do that for Adobe DRM-protected EPUB files?
