Hello from the Solomon Islands

I am an old Kindle user, am on my second one because my husband goes to sleep earlier than me and he loved the backlight on the "new" (now old) Paperwhite. He bought me one for Christmas in ~2013, and I gifted my old one to a friend. I love my Kindle!

I live on a sailboat, we are currently exploring the Solomon Islands (just east of Australia in the Pacific Ocean).

I have just started having trouble with the touchscreen, and came here looking for advice.
