Code View font choices
There are only seven monospace font choices in Sigil (Osaka and Apple Color Emoji don't count). I don't like any of them. I have many monospace fonts, and I would like to add my favorite to the list of choices. Is this possible? If so, what are the steps?

This is not determined by Sigil. It uses Qt platform dependent code to query the platform's font database with the QFont::TypeWriter stylehint to get a set of monospaced fonts. What platform are you using and do which fonts are actually detected by Qt on your platform?

If your font isn't listed in the Code View list box, you could try to manually add it to sigil.ini.
  1. Open Sigil.
  2. Select Edit > Preferences > Open Preferences Location.
  3. Open sigil.ini.
  4. Close Sigil.
  5. Search for the following entry:
    Code:
    code_view_font_family_standard=Courier New
  6. Change Courier New to your favorite font.
  7. Save sigil.ini.
