Port forwarding on TELUS routers ?

Can anyone suggest where I might find information on port forwarding for Calibre server on Telus routers ?
I have been doing port forwarding for Calibre on Shaw routers using DYNDNS for several years. No fuss. But have just moved and the exclusive provider is now Telus and I have not yet been able to set up port forwarding for Calibre.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If direct contact, my new e-mail is now

It would help if you could let us know the model of router (or modem / router) supplied by TELUS

Did you try searching for "telus router port forwarding" in your web browser, mine found ~143,000 results, if the router was supplied by an ISP you could ask them.

Telus frowns on using servers on a residential plan. To quote from their terms of service:

Quote:
13. You are not permitted to operate an e-mail, web, news or other similar server through a Services account, except where such use is expressly permitted under your service plan.
The one time I attempted to find out what services were actually allowed on a residential plan, I ended up killing a couple of hours being bounced around their phone tree being told repeatedly that that the person I was talking to did not have that information available and that I needed a business plan (and it's much higher fees) to run a server.

You can try using port 9090 instead of 8080 to see if this gets around Telus port blocking since the last time I checked, they blocked 80, 443, 8080 and 8081 which are common web services ports.

It wquld, possibly.
But Telus are scheduled to change all routers in this "Senior's Retirement Residence aka Old Folks Home" in the next week or 10 days. Our apartment will be "done" on May 5th.
Telus are upgrading this building to 175 Mbps.
The retirement home we left last Wednesday had 300 Mbps.
