Pop-socket?
I’m tired of the weight that my case is adding to my KA1. It’s a super light case too. I’m thinking of just using a sleeve for storage and using a pop-socket on the back for one handed reading. Anyone do this successfully before?

I always keep a cover on my readers, but I do know that some people prefer no cover and haven't had issues. I find the bare reader too slim and harder to hold onto without a cover.
But I'll also add that the times I've dropped my reader was when handling it and reading. Which means it happens at times when the sleeve wouldn't be on the reader to protect it. Fortunately, my readers have survived numerous drops thanks to covers. If you've never ever dropped your reader and think you'll never ever drop your reader, then you may be happy with just a sleeve. |

Same here. It's difficult to hold with one hand for several minutes, I never though of using a pop socket, that's a neat idea, but I have the original KA1 cover as well (what a waste of money for this one, I'll never buy a cover again).

I've done this for about six months with a Kobo H202 and I love it. You get the sleek look of the reader while able to easily hold it. Because of the textured back of the H202 I had to hold the popsocket to the back of it for a bit before it truly stuck but now it's perfect. I use a sleeve when I travel and I haven't had a single trouble with it. Any other eReaders I get in the future, I will be using this method.
If I were to drop it (which I've had a few small falls and it's been fine), then I guess I have an excuse to get a new one. Lol |

I've been thinking about getting a Kobo Clara HD, but not sure if it has the same footprint and casing material as my Glo HD, so I'm unsure if a popsocket would work for that one. |
