Epub to PDF - All Superscripts are Full-Size Text?

Hi,

Never seen this before.

I have an EPUB file I'm trying to convert. It has many footnotes.

None of the superscripts are being re-sized? So that if there is a number at the end of the line to indicate a footnote, it is the same size as normal text.

I tried a few different fonts, serif and sans. Also, tried the "Smarten" punctuation. Same result.

Not just hard on the eyes, but bumps the line above out of position.

What do you think is happening?

Is there any way to focus the converter to address the issue?

Ah! I saw your reply. TOTALLY understand. In this case it's all original research so I wont be able to post. : ((

But! I was able to get around things a bit by working with the line heights, and Open Office. So, everything's MORE than in the right way now.

As always, you're too humble! Especially in THIS quote ""A conversion is the result of the interaction of thousands of different inputs and subsystems." You've got to add, "And a doggone GOOD dose of flat out MAGIC!"
