PW3 Jailbreaking 5.10.3

Hello folks,

I've already read all about me being stupid for resetting the PW3 to factory default after successfully jailbreaking a breakable version and then updating it to the latest firmware.
I've also read on some thread here that people are still looking into breaking 5.10.x versions of the firmware (and doing it slowly because it eats huge amounts of time), but I have no updates on this topic, what's the status on it?

You're extrapolating a fair bit here. I wouldn't hold my breath any time soon, if at all.

If there was any progress being made on that topic, it would not be discussed here prior to release.

dumb question time: what happens if you have 5.10.3 (jailbroken) and then you do a factory reset? you stay at 5.10.3 but lose jailbreak forever?

Apply the latest hotfix. Then reinstall your mods. I believe I recently read that the jailbreak survived 5.10.3 as long as you have the latest hotfix applied before the update. I’m at 5.10.2 on PW2 and used the hotfix after a reset.
My battery was draining rapidly, so I reset everything and it helped. My PW2 works great now. I just wish we had a software jailbreak method for 5.10.x. I like my KV but would love to mod it. I don’t have the guts to serial jailbreak.
