On the sony bookstore at http://ebookstore.sony.com/ there is a free nonfiction ebook called Farm Sanctuary by Gene Baur for today only as the web site says.

I just downloaded it. Should be interesting and timely for those of us in California since Proposition 2 just passed. It provides for improved conditions for factory chickens, pigs and calves. Unfortunately its implementation does not begin until 2015.

I wonder if this is a sign that Sony are getting a little sneaky with their freebies only making them available for 1 day instead of 1 week like in Sept.
They probably want you to visit there everyday and maybe buy something

or maybe it just the conspiracy theorist coming out in me.
