Calibre move ADE epub ebook to iPad
Will Calibre successfully take a DRM ebook from ADE in to Calibre then send it out to an iPad?
Any suggestions otherwise? Thanks. |

You'll need a plugin to remove DRM first, I believe.

Once you get things sorted so it can be read on the iPad, you could use something like Dropbox or Onedrive to copy it to the iPad and the reading program. Marvin (for example) has support for Dropbox built in.

Okay, thanks. That looks more complicated than another approach.
An iPad app is downloaded to the iPad. The ADE ebook is then emailed to the iPad. And the iPad app then picks up the ebook. It's ready to be read. |

I'm failing to see how what the OP is describing is more complicated.
For the DRM-free route, you'd need to:
The OP's method:
I always remove DRM from my books (never know if/when I'll lose access plus I tend to find official apps too restrictive). However, I can admit that direct download using ereader or official app is easier. |
