new keep metadata feature

the new
"Metadata download: Add an option (in Preferences->Metadata download) to keep multiple results from individual metadata sources, useful if you prefer to pick the best result by hand and use only one or two metadata sources."
feature sounds cool but I cant see how it is working. Where do I see the other results? When I review the uploaded data I can see my result on the left and the old data on the right, but where are the other results?? Am I looking in the wrong place??

The tooltip has

Quote:
Normally, the metadata download system will keep only a single result per metadata source. This option will cause it to keep all results returned from every metadata source. Useful if you only use one or two sources and want to select individual results from them by hand.

Note that results with identical title/author/identifiers are still merged.
Maybe that last condition is true on the books/sources you have tried.

That only works in the individual metadata download, not the bulk download. In the individual download you get a list of results after the download completes and you can pick and choose from them

Thanks Kovid. Also, am I right that even in the individual upload there is no special indication for it in the results screen, except that now more results are shown than would have been before, and that one can see from the logs that multiples results are coming from some sources?

I am unclear as to how Calibre saves multiple results. In the results window with multiple results, is it possible to select more than one?
