Send To Device

I now have a Kindle so I get to use the Send To Device button. It's awesome and I love it. However, is it possible for it to convert the book to KFX instead of AZW3? I know I can do it manually by using the Convert button. I've been doing that. But it would be awesome if I could just press the Send to Device button and be done.

I hope I'm posting this in the correct place.

First:You need to install the KFX OUTPUT plugin, then restart Calibre
Now
Preferences Behavior: Will have KFX on the list for Preferred Output format.
Also, Attach your device:right-click the device icon: configure:
Move (and tick) KFX to the top (before other ticked formats)

The way Calibre uses that list is If there IS a ticked format in the Library, that is sent.
If there IS NOT, then Calibre converts to one (that is ticked) closest to the top

Not to worry

Many of the drivers ship with the defaults for the First model they supported.
Those may not have had some of the features the device family now has
