Oasis 2 no OTA update past 5.9.7?
I am not getting an update past 5.9.7 on WiFi. Is this normal? I didn't use the update blocker file.

They must not have rolled it out yet for your specific device. If you want to download and install manually, you can do so by following the directions on this page ...

You might want to look at some of the threads dealing with 5.10.1.1 firmware before making that decision, however.

Did you try restarting the kindle? Sometimes it will update while starting back up.

Yes I tried that. It didn't help. Maybe a higher update is not available in my region.

Maybe the updates are buggy and have been on hold.
Some people m are complaining about the newest updates.

My Oasis 2 updated itself yesterday (I'd forgotten to put it back in aeroplane mode after using Wikipedia). All seems normal so far.
