Normally I prefer the original covers of Kobo and had good experience with covers for Kobo Glo HD and Kobo Aura H2O (Edition 1).
But the original sleepcover for the Aura H2O Edition 2 is really of poor quality. It doesn't take long and the cover will look like you can see on the attached images. At the edges the material will rip off. This is not what I expect of an original (and expensive) cover. |

That's why you are supposed buy cheap aftermarket covers...

On my cheap Chinese H2O2 sleep cover the sleep / wake function never did function.
The magnets work though, and it's a good fit Still presentable after 8 months solid use. It can be frustrating though when you don't get what you paid for. |

The sleepcover for the H2O2 of Kobo is the first original one with bad quality in my experience. Now I use a Gecko-Cover that seems to be good for the time being. http://www.geckocovers.com/kobo-aura...r-slimfit.html |

I have this:
https://www.amazon.ca/Kobo-Aura-H2O-...case+edition+2 Works well. Though one of the magnets fell out about a year ago. The wake/sleep cover function still works though. Thankfully there were two magnets in it. A touch slippery while reading though. Thinking about taking it off. Sticking a pop socket on my Kobo and just using a sleeve for travel. |

Seems reasonable to me. The cover of Gecko is my last try. Otherwise using a pop socket is a good idea. The H2O2 is at least good to hold and has a nice rubber texture; so, good to hold without a cover.

Though I have thought of trying this one. https://www.amazon.ca/kwmobile-Cover...EdL&ref=plSrch Built in handle is interesting but so far the popsocket is working well for me. |
