Solitaire
Hi all,
Do you know which firmware version the beta feature Solitaire is available on? I am currently running 4.10.X and there is no Solitaire. |

Assuming this is also about your Mini... I'm not sure if solitaire was ever available on the Mini... (screen size issue. Even on a 6" screen solitaire is quite 'squinty') maybe someone else can confirm. In any case, I don't think you need to unhide games with a patch - the Mini is an old enough device to have them show up in beta features by default (it was only after the Glo HD that the games got hidden). You do have other games show up, right?

IMPORTANT: Read carefully all instructions and change only the part between quotes ("...") after Replace:. Example: The following change a 29px font-size to 26px. Code:
- ReplaceString: {Offset: 357, Find: "font-size:29px", Replace: "font-size:26px"} # Replacement caption font size value for AuraHD/H2O:
If there are no issues, a KoboRoot.tgz file will be created into out folder, that you will have to copy into .kobo folder of your device. 6.- Eject, disconnect the USB and the device reboots to install the patches. So, do games vary according to firmware version, or device? |

Of course, on the Touch and Glo, Unblock It is on the second page of the beta features. On the Aura H2O, it is on the first page. Word Scramble isn't on the Touch, but is on the Glo and Aura H2O. I don't remember if it was ever on the Touch. "Large Print Mode" is the last beta feature to be added. As to firmware version, I am running a 4.10.x firmware on all my devices. As to the screen corruption, there might have been a kernel or driver change needed. I don't remember hearing of any problems, but, until the next release for the other Mark 4 devices, I would suggest going back to the working firmware. |
