Question SOLVED - help restarting the Aura One

I must have made a mistake disconnecting the One before it was ready to disconnect, and I now have the black screen "connecting and charging", and can't exit it. It was charged at more than 70% as I had been loading books from Calibre for a while.

I've reread the Rakuten user manual, and tried pressing the power button for more than the 30 seconds indicated with no result.

I've also tried to connect to my PC, but it isn't recognized.

Has anyone any idea how to solve the problem? I'm resigned I'll have to reload everything, but I'd hate to have bricked it.

EDIT: after waiting for a while I connected it to the mains, and it started by itself (the charge was 93%), so everything is fine. I don't know why I didn't have the blue light when I connected it to my Surface dock, which usually acts fine as a charger, whether the PC is connected or not.

In my case, I found that the Aura One does not "reset" itself if I disconnect the cable from the pc end. I had to disconnect the KA1 from the KA1 end, the micro usb connector. Maybe it was the cable that I used?
