Moon+ Pro noob: how to close Alice in Wonderland???
Just installed Moon+ Pro. I'm sure it's a great app, but as a beginner it's as UNintuitive as it gets.
The app decided to load Alice in Wonderland, and I can't figure out how to close that book and actually get to the work of setting up the app, telling it which folders to monitor etc. Would be grateful for any tips. I've tapped everywhere! Last edited by playful; 09-05-2020 at 07:12 AM. |

Are you using an Onyx Boox? I have Moon+ Pro on my Note2, and the way I back out of a book is to press the "Back Button". From the Onyx Boox Note2 manual, p10., the "Back Button":
⚫Exit the current apps; ⚫Exit the current view or dialog; ⚫Go back to previous directory Note that on my Android tablet, I also need to use the "Back" function to exit a book, back out of a sub menu, or exit the app. Agree with your comments about Moon, it's a fabulous reader, with lots of great features, but in desperate need of a good user manual. Thank you. Yes, using a Boox Pro.
You're right that the back button lets you back out, but overall I'm totally confused about the software, on most screens with options there's no OK button etc. Maybe it requires a special set-up to work well on Onyx Boox. |

No, it works just the same on other Android devices, such as my Samsung tablet or my Google phone. That's just the way it's designed; very similar to Apple software. Even more confusing, certain options can only be set when a book is opened, as opposed to from the app screen itself.
There are certain features which, for me, make the software design acceptable overall. I think, as with most software, the more I use it (struggle through, search on forums, etc), the more I'll simply get used to it. The MobileRead forums are very helpful; there's only a few other random scatterings of web pages devoted to Moon+, so unfortunately it is a more effort-intensive process to better understand how to use the sofware. Enjoy and good luck. Ed |

You can press in the center, appears the menu of moon, and top left it's a back button. Perhaps it's not there if white backgrounds is actived in the app. Well, it's there but you don't see it. You must configure and deactivate that option for moon. You can go from navigation ball or pressing long in apps and then config the app (it's not a moon option it's a onyx config).
