Batch Edit Function

Good afternoon guys,

Noob user here,

I have a whole bunch of books with the ISBN numbers and publisher info set as the title.

Is there any quick way of fixing this so it displays correctly?

Probably a longshot. Whoever set the files up initially named them in that way.

Either use the Bulk Metadata Edit Search and Replace feature to extract the ISBN and Publisher values from the Title column and put them in the rightful columns. Or add the books again with a suitable template to do the same as they're added.

I'd probably take the second option, on the basis that IMO its better to learn how to do it at the beginning of the process, rather than fixing things later.

Yes!
When you select the Replace field (Destination) as identifiers, the form adjusts to asks 'What type'

This is a 2 part S&R. The first part,you copy the Captured (ISBN) into the destination.
The second pass, you clean up the source field
