What is .ACSM

I bought a book from Fictionwise in secure Adobe and it is in .acsm format. Is that adobe format and how can it be converted to sony, if at all. Thanks for the help.

Basically, acsm files open in Adobe Digital Editions.
If you have a Sony PRS 500 then you are out of luck. But the Sony PRS 505 will read them.
