Hi

Hi All,

Just happened to pop in as I am now the proud owner of a PRS505, which is without doubt a wonderful thing. Just in a week or so it has

- made me read more, just by being a thing of beauty and always with me.
- made me take a chance on novelists I had not heard of, because their work was available free
- made me go and buy a p-book that wasn't available as an e-book based on an e-sample I read (I think that's a sentence....)
- helped me to manage my habit of reading six books at once, but being caught out by not having the one I want with me when I have a spare five minutes - now I have ALL six with me!!
- allowed me to introduce my 8 year old son to John Buchan
- let me rebuild my library of old texts that I had long since lost...

And to think there are people who genuinely still don't get it......

And finally - thank you to everyone who posts the e-books....

Welcome to the forums!

And (as you stated) the wonderful world of e-reading. Here we usually point newcomers towards the uploaded books available here on MR. But since you already found those yourself. Here, have a Zany Carter instead

Same for me
Every time I left for a work journey, I used to spend the last hours at home desperately swapping books from my shelf to my bag and viceversa.

Hi spikethecat and welcome to the Forum. Be careful of that eBook reader; the damn things are addictive.
