Forbes has no qualms over printing made up nonsense. Daniel Lyons had a regular column in Forbes shilling for SCO around 15 years ago.

That's what I thought. I looked up the guy's credentials and then read the article and there seems to be serious disconnect here. Professor and Chair of the Economic Department of Long Island University? Teaches at Columbia? It's almost like he decided to let his 10 year-old kid/grandkid write the article and didn't have time to edit it. Of course I haven't read his other stuff, so maybe it's always like this. Or maybe this was written by some outfit where they pay by the word for click-bait articles and the professor's name was just attached to it.
