Edit Menu?

Is there a way to edit the menu beyond adding and removing groups.
I would like to change there names and whats under them?

Also, remove the arrow next to the entry and have the entry bring up the menu.
(As an example, Currently have Add Books with an Arrow next to it. When I select Add Books, I get the Open File dialog. I rather have it bring down the menu to select something.)

To get the menu just click the "Arrow next to it" or right click the button.

I found my issue. I had the tool bar on and not the menu bar (very confusing)

FWIW: The tool bar and menu bar are not mutually exclusive, you can both.
