BOOK TRANSFER FROM CALIBRE TO KINDLE

Hi, am new here...my name is Matthias from Puerto Vallarta/Mexico.

Am an avid reader and calibre-ebook.com user..I read my books on kindle (2.5.8). So far it was very easy to load books from calibre to my kindle, but, out of the blue, this is not possible anymore...the loading of books, yes, but when I open one on kindle, I receive the following message:

the selected item could not be opened. If you purchased this item from Amazon (which I did not) delete the item and redownload it from Archived items available in Home.

I could not find any hint on the internet how to remedy this situation. Thanks for your help.
