Kobo Aura One Overdrive Issue

I decided to upgrade my ereader and I wanted easier library access so I chose the above reader.
It should be simple, go to settings, then overdrive, find library, enter card number etc. Easy easy, but...
When I get to the “choose library step”, the search turns up zero results.
The local library uses overdrive, I can sign in on the desktop, it works on the old Kobo, but I can’t get past this step on the new one.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Since you didn't supply a location, the first question that comes to mind is what is your location (Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand are supported countries).

I'm also curious as to how Overdrive works on your old Kobo? Simply that you can borrow the book on your PC and then transfer it to your old Kobo?

I'm in Canada.
On the old Kobo I would manage to get onto some sort
of webpage and download directly.
It was cumbersome and a bit annoying because of the slow
screen refresh but worked.
This should work well except for this one issue.

Home issue makes me wonder about your router setup. Does the KA1 show an IP address that makes sense for your home setup? Does your wireless router act as the DNS server for your home network or does it pass through external DNS servers? Easier to see this on a Windows/Mac/Linux machine.

Hi all. I just purchased a Kobo Aura One recently and Im having the exact same problem. Im in Melbourne, Australia. Before switching to a Kobo, Ive been using my Sony Xperia tablet to access Overdrive. Like the Op I can access the Overdrive function through settings, but cant get pass the 'Find a public library' screen, which always returns zero results no matter what Australian location I put in. I even tried putting in Us and Canadian location. Still zero results. My Kobo has the 4.7.10413 firmware.

What I tried so Far:
- Changed the affiliate to 'kobo', it was originally 'jb hifi'
- Tried to use 3 different log in email addresses for Kobo account
- Made sure my payment information in my main Kobo account is set to my Australian address.
- Made sure the the Kobo website is set to Ausralia whenever I logged in.
- Factory reset
- After reading this thread, I used a public library WiFi. Used my home WiFi and two secure mobile hotspots previously.

None of them worked. Can anyone help? Its driving me half mad.I specifically bought the Aura One for the direct OD access and it hasnt worked at all.

I just tried my wife's Aura ONE. I was using this last year and had setup my local library (Gosford or Central Coast). She hasn't set anything up, so I tried searching. Nothing I could think of found any libraries. The libraries do need to be signed up in some way, but I would think at least one library that matched the searches "Gosford", "Central Coast", "sydney", "melbourne" or "australia" would still be involved.

This should be working now. The problem was on Kobo's end and has been fixed. I have tested the start of the setup and it is finding libraries here in Australia.
