Want an eReader that can run Linux natively

The screen of my Kobo Glo HD has died , and I am looking for a replacement.

What I am looking for is an eReader I could turn into an e-ink Linux tablet. I am tech-savy enough in order to install it myself as long as there are drivers, etc. for it. That's the only feature I want.

I don't care about its price, as long as it is not completely unreasonable (like $600 for a 6-inch device).

I was wondering if you knew something like this?

Strictly speaking, the Kobo and Kindle ereaders already run Linux natively.

By Linux I assume Android is included. Onyx is the only e-reader I know of that gives you direct access to its Android OS and the ability to install apps from the Play store.

PocketBook (see our forum) runs Linux and has API support so that other can add programs.
