Different Lists...

I have two Paperwhite 3 Kindles. Both have serial number starting with G090 G1XX. They both have the same, most recent, update.

When messing around today I noticed that the two do not show the same book list for "All-Recent". Not only does the first page show some different books but the total number of books is different, 2843 versus 2844.

I synced the devices and am wondering why the difference and discrepancy.

I believe that "recent" ordering reflects books accessed on that device. I would not expect it to match across devices.

The count discrepancy could be a sideloaded book.

You're right. Thank you. I changed the listing from recent to title and the "all" listing on both PWs were the same. I have no idea why, but once I'd switched to title and then returned to recent, the total book count was the same.

Thanks. It wasn't a problem but it was an irritant.
