Single Cover refusing to load properly

A book I bought which previously correctly downloaded the cover, refused to download the cover after a factory reset of my kobo aura one this morning, I tried deleting it and going to my archive to re-add it, I tried a second reset. No dice. It shows a lovely cover on the website, my kobo app, and my kobo glo (that hasn't been synced in years, tho).

The two other books from the series downloaded without issue.

Any ideas?

edit: instead of the cover it shows what it does for free books with no cover..ie: the title and the format with a white background

edit 2: Actually it's two covers, I forgot it was also the case for a preview I have on my kobo

same case, it worked before the factory reset, now it doesn't show the published cover.

Also note that when I use my kobo to search for those two books in the kobo store, no cover image shows. Even when I completely removed the preview from my account (deleted from archive, then synced my kobo), it still wouldn't load the cover within the kobo store.

If someone could check that searching on the kobo store directly from their kobo shows the covers, I'd appreciate it. Or by adding the previews.

Another Edit : The 1st book that I bought when searching in the kobo store (only using my kobo) comes up with the price listed, when I click on Buy (I don't have any card associated...I just wanted to see what happened when I tried to buy a book I definitely already had), it says "sorry this book is not available in your country". But it shows up in my purchases and when I search on a computer, it shows it as "already in my library" ie no price or option to buy. This just seems weird.
