IBM Plex typeface
IBM has been working on this for a while now. It is exiting project for those who care about these things =)

Finally, two weeks ago, v1.0.0 was released on Github: https://github.com/IBM/plex

Anyway, I took the Serif Text and Text Italic styles, paired them with Serif Bold and Serif Bold Italic, fixed names and kerning formats for e-readers and stripped hints.

Enjoy, It is quite nice.

I don't like the mix of slab serif with dot serif.
(dot on a,c,f,g,r,y and slab on s. The s should have none, one or two dots, not two slab serifs.)

And I don't like the tail on the sans 'a' when there's none on the b, d, m, n, p, q, r and u.

I guess I just like consistency.

I admit that the tail on the a (or lack of on other letters) is not noticeable in body text.

But I don't like the S.

What software did you use to edit the font?

I have been using the Plex Serif SemiBold for a few weeks now.
