Oasis 2 is now $179
Amazon just dropped the price on refub Oasis 7" readers to $179. This is the 8 GB WiFi version. Better than the $50 off flash sale they had during Prime day for the Oasis.

I'd been waffling over whether to buy it because of the lack of blue light filter which I suspect the newer Kindle models will have. But at this price I ended up pulling the trigger (good job Amazon). I figure I can always return it if the frontlight causes problems sleeping at night.

That is refub pricing not new.And yes I love my Oasis 7 inch. I bypassed the Oasis when it was the smaller 6 inch as I could not see it being worth it, but the larger screen is well worth it for me.

Amazon refurb carry the exact same warranty as new. I've bought a few different refurbs over the years, and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
