It's a great idea, but I found it very slow. The annotation features are terrific, however.

Highly recommended. I have been using it for several months now for all my non-fiction reading, epub or pdf. Although I don't use the more advanced functionalities such as mind map, I just highlight stuff and sync to Evernote, and occasionally type a short comment (the app does not handle long notes very well).

This app just got an update and it's fantastic. I was using Liquidtext and the old Marvin, for pdf and epub respectively, but for now, this is replacing both on iOS.

I haven't installed the update yet, but I agree the app is much better than LiquidText and Marvin for managing notes. I don't think there is an equivalent to this app on iOS.

				Poor EPUB support

The latest version of MarginNote I've tried also has EPUB support. Pretty disappointing as for reading experience is concerned. Few options for customization. You can't even adjust the line spacing! Text that are supposed to be centered are not centered. Image rendering is not correct. Images intended for a full page display, such as book cover images, are truncated.

Yes, as a reader it's far from perfect, it's the way that it displays and manages notes that makes it irreplaceable. I use it for all my non fiction reading.

I’ve merged all my pleasure reading and research to MarginNote pro. Can read PDF and EPub, night mode is fantastic. This app has come a long way since I mentioned it last.

I’ve tried most all the ios readers and it blows my mind this app isn’t talked about more here! Anyone else tried this one recently? |
