Search via content server returns time out errors
I have a very large library, over 135k books, and over 100GB in HD space. It's slow to launch on reboot but it always comes up after a few minutes. I'm not complaining about that. Since I upgraded to 3.x I have been searching via content server and I get time outs all the time.
Is there any way to optimize searching? |

Searching in the content server uses the same code as searching in calibre, do your searches take very long in calibre as well? The general answer to optimize searching is to search a single column by using prefixes. You can also change what unprefed searches match in preferences->Searching
