A way to find damaged books?

I've been adding books to my library for a few a days, and have realised a large number of them are damaged. Whenever I try to open them, I get the message ''something is stopping this pdf from being opened." There is no obvious discrepancy in size. Is there another way to test them short of opening every file? There's 1881 files, so I'd like to avoid that, if possible. Thanks.

It's probably easier to do that with a system search, outside Calibre.

Find a few pdfs that won't open, and check their info. It's possible that some of them require passwords, or contain jpeg-2000 images, or something else troublesome. Then do a system search for other pdfs with similar info.

Check your A/V, it may be blocking the file type.
Is the Calibre viewer or a system viewer the default for PDF?
