Calibre Error sending to kindle

Hello,

I seem to have a regular recurring problem after a a software update. Newspapers sent to my kindle via GMX seem to fail to send. I get an error after the fetch downloads the newspapers and after it tries to send to kindle by email. I am using a mac with up to date IOS. would love any advice you may have. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Calibre with no success.

Looks like you have turned of TLS encryption in the meail settings. Go to Preferences->Sharing by email and re-enable it Iit is near the button of that screen)

Hi, Every few weeks I have an issue with the NY Times email to my kindle docs via gmx. Might there be a work around for this problem. I have included the end of the log here. Many thanks for any assistance. Anyone else have this problem.

GMX says you have used up allowed Storage?
How much are you sending by mail?
Is your GMX account keeping copies of sent mail?

There have been similar issues in the past. See Daily Mail not emailing where the file being sent was 69,920,427 bytes; yours is 69,920,427

The fix last time was to add in

compress_news_images = True
compress_news_images_max_size = 15

however

compress_news_images = True

is already in this recipe. Try adding in the other line

compress_news_images_max_size = 15

Either free up some space in your GMX account or create a new one.

GMX has a 50 MB attachment limit; he is sending 69MB!
