Two word entries in dictionary
Hey
I made my own dictionary for a fantasy book. However I have a problem with two word entries, it won't work. For example the name Anomander Rake won't get looked up. However I'm also using a fictionary for the book (http://thefictionary.net/) and it works (Book 5 of Malazan), and I don't any difference of the two dictionaries in the calibre e-book reader. |

@asgeirtj: You'll have to use inflection tags. Here's an example from the Dune fictionary:
Code:
<idx:entry scriptable="yes"> <idx:orth value="Fleur de Lys"> <idx:infl> <idx:iform name="" value="Ly"/> <idx:iform name="plural" value="Lys"/> <idx:iform name="plural" value="Lyes"/> <idx:iform name="" value="Fleur"/> <idx:iform name="plural" value="Fleurs"/> <idx:iform name="plural" value="Fleures"/> </idx:infl> </idx:orth><h2> Fleur de Lys </h2> <b> <font size="7">— </font></b><br>Fleur de Lys was a strategy game much enjoyed by Vorian Atreides.<br><br><b>Appearances</b><br><br>• Dune: The Machine Crusade "<br><br> </idx:entry> |

@asgeirtj: What website was the source of your "better-than-fictionary" character information for Malazan books?
While Shelfari website was "alive" I used to use X-Ray builder app to build custom X-Ray file. Nowdays I have to settle for The Fictionary dictionaries. I'm reading Malazan book #6 ![]() |
