How to convert from docx to mobi with popup endnote?
The conversion from docx to mobi done with calibre is of better quality when compared to Kindle's. The only problem is that the inline popup endnote, which is really awesome, disappears.
Is there any way to convert docx to mobi using calibre while maintaining the popup endnote? I tried several things in order to make the popup endnote work, but to no avail. See images for example. Thanks! Last edited by rmarques; 08-30-2017 at 03:29 PM. Reason: Docx |

Convert to azw3 instead. Although given that popup footnotes on Kindles working using some unknown heuristics, rather than actual markup, whether it works or is something of guessing game.

Ok! AZW3 - I can't e-mail this format, amazon will not accept it. But I can add it directly to the device using calibre. The azw3 format maintains the popup endnote. Thanks!
