Face to face with death…

Detective Allan Pinkerton needs the help of a young law-breaker to assist him on a mission.

Whilst on the streets of New York, he sweeps up a young killer named Savage and hires him to break up two gangs who had been terrorizing the South-West.

Not long into Savage’s mission, Pinkerton starts to wonder whether he’d made a brash decision, and begins to regret hiring this violent youth.

It seemed Savage was armed with just a shotgun, but it was soon discovered that it was his concealed knife that had to be watched out for...

With townsfolk on his back, Savage is in danger all too soon, with Garrison being the most suspicious and having him spied on where he can.

After a brief love affair with a prostitute, Anna, Savage finds himself in the middle of a murder scene, where he is now the target for revenge.

Somehow he needs to infiltrate two rival gangs and then destroy both, trying to dodge death and succeed in an impossible mission...

Will he be able to justify Pinkerton’s initial faith in him or will he see the end all too soon?
