I have lot of records in my calibre database that have only .opf files an nothing else. I have two questions.
1.How can i search for these records. I tried format:false or formats=false but it doesn't work. 2. What is the reason that caused this so i can avoid this in future ? Thanks |

Run Library Maintenance (Right click the Library icon)
Once that is done. formats:false should work As to why? That is what is called an 'Empty Book' . Many of us use that feature (add books: empty book: <qty>) to document: 1)paper versions (only) 2)wishlist If yours was NOT that reason, then someone or something is: 1) going into the Library/Author folder and deleting the format 2)You have merged (copied) different libraries onto each other 3)You have the Library folder on a NAS or Share and or 2 users running calibre at the same time |
