Rogue of the Highlands by Cynthia Breeding (ISFDB, Fantastic Fiction) is the 1st novel in her Rogue series of f/m historical romances starring Scottish Highlanders, this one apparently with a few paranormal elements (according to the editorial reviews, which mention these add a touch of magic and espionage and Regency sensibilities to the Highlander setting), as a Highlander who's inherited an English title commissions a penniless and very proper noble English widow to “refine” his wild ways so he can claim the profits from his new lands, and spots something off about her stepson, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Macmillan's Entangled: Select Historical imprint.

This was originally published in 2013 by Samhain. It's nice to see former Samhain authors so quickly finding themselves other publishers for their backlists (as well as doing the self-publishing thing).

The full blurb contains a note that all the novels in this series are self-contained stories which can be read standalone in any order, not that it makes a difference in this case, since this is the 1st. It also looks like the others are discounted on pre-order sale for just $0.99-$1.99 each, though that may end up being a regular low price.
