Exporting Library to Cloud fails

Hi
i'm using calibre v3 to try to export my library to dropbox or google drive so that I can import it to Calibre Companion app on my tablet. Every time I try the library fails to export and I have a "part" file on my cloud provider. Is this a bug with calibre or am I missing something else I need to be doing

Use a file synchronisation tool to maintain a copy of the local library on Dropbox - see ==>> Comparison of file synchronization software - Wikipedia

Calibre's Export/Import feature is specifically designed to facilitate moving calibre libraries and settings to another (typically new) computer.
