Appears to be $1.20 at Amazon. Normally $4.99. And a bargain compared to the Print List price of $40.00.

Because there is no publisher. It is self-published.
And that $40 hardcover is temporarily out of stock.

Ok so it does have a publisher per se. Surprised it wasn't listed on the Amazon page.

Further research shows this:
Based in Burton, Michigan, Subterranean issues approximately 45 titles each year. Since it began in 1995, both the publisher and numerous works it has produced have been honored with accolades including the World Fantasy, Locus, Horror Writers Association, and Hugo awards.

The publisher is an independent and libraries typically don't buy independent books.
Too expensive and way too much work for libraries. Most libraries use one or two catalogs to pick the books they want to buy.


Little hint: On the Amazon page: if it says simultaneous usage: unlimited, chances are very slim that it will be on Overdrive.
