dead H20 (now Fixed)

Hi, this is my wifes device, I think it may have gone flat during the latest update.

when it turns on the screen flashes black and white then shuts off.
nothing is showing on the screen just a white screen
what I have tried

Charge overnight

Factory reset many many times (holding power button tapping corners at bottom of screen).

pressing the reset button on bottom of unit.

any help would be appreciated.

Fixed it now thanks for the help

Never sync or update the firmware without at least 1/2 charged.

Try performing a manual factory reset when the device doesn't boot to the "dancing squares".

Edit: after I reread your post I see you already tried this method, so the only thing left is to write a image on the SD card, ask a image from davidfor from here.

Glad you solved your problem! Do you have any advice on opening the device? I've tried more than once, I wanted to upgrade the internal SD... Used a pointed thing to get in between the bezel and the device, I seem to have gotten through all of the glue but I can't manage to get the bezel off, for some reason.

I used the plastic tool out of a mobile phone repair kit and slowly levered the top off whilst moving it around to break the glue.

The device won't update if there isn't at least 20% power even if you side load it. Which should be more than enough to see the device through the update process
