Hidden Guns by the late British author Gordon Landsborough (Wikipedia), a prolific and pioneering multi-genre pulp fiction writer and publisher, is his vintage standalone western historical action adventure novel with mystery elements, this one a story of sibling vengeance as a deadly gunslinger must solve the mystery of his brother's abrupt murder with only a cryptic clue at hand, meanwhile foiling a greater nefarious plot that may be related to it as well, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press' Pioneering imprint.

This was originally published in 1961 by Brown, Watson Ltd. using the Alan Holmes pseudonym.

If you're thinking that some of this story looks familiar, that would be because the author apparently recycled part of this idea (and the hero's nickname) some decades later (or some ghostwriter did so posthumously) in The Fighting Cowboy, which we've also gotten as a freebie, in case you wanted to do some comparison reading.
