Hi! I am Garry from Alberta, Canada and I have been/am a very happy calibre user for a number of years. Apparently I am also an idiot because I cannot transfer epub books from it to my newly purchased Kindle Paperwhite despite following what look like clear and simple procedures. I shall look around this forum for answers. Best regards all ..

Hi Cinisajoy and MickeyC, and thank you for the welcome. I am not quite as inept as I thought. The epub files I was trying to add were corrupt and when I tried others the process worked fine. Since then I have added books bought from websites to calibre so am very pleased. I wish I had bought an eReader long ago.
