[Android] Calibre Companion on Phone

Hi,

1. I have CC set up on to wifi tablets connecting to Google Drive cloud, and it works fine.

2. However, when I try to use CC on my phone with the same Google could connection, it keeps asking me to turn on wifi, even though my phone connects to the internet and I can reach Gogle Drive with G Drive app, as well as various file managers.

3. How can I connect to CC Google could via the phone's own internet connection?

In CC, go to Settings / Connecting to Calibre / Cloud Connection and check the box Allow connecting using 3G. You will find a similar setting in the Content Server and Wireless Device sections should you need it.

And to be complete: see our FAQ Why does CC warn against using Google Drive?
