Problems with Notes in folders
Whenever I create a folder and put a note in it I have problems after awhile accessing the notes. I can write the note and view the note. I can leave and return to the folder to read the note without incident. Not sure when it happens. Maybe it is right after the first power cycle after writing a note in the folder. When I click on the folder I can't access it anymore. I connect to the PC and move the note out of the folder and everything is fine. This has happened twice to me. Now I just create the note without putting it in a folder. I searched to see if anyone else might have experienced this issue. I was unable to find anything. Has this happened to others and is there a work around? Thank you.

I didn't mean to imply that the problem was with the notes directory. Just that when notes are put in a folder I have problems with the notes. Or are your sudoku's png files? If that is the case then it may just be my problem.

I haven't had this problem, but I have template files and I create my notes inside the folders where I want to keep them. Are you moving them after you create them?

I created the note and then moved it to the folder. I checked the xml file and didn't see anything that looked wrong. What do I need to do to fix the problem?

A "note" is actually a folder with one or more .png files and a manifest (I think). Did you move the whole folder?

I was hoping you were going to say they were not png files. Oh well. Thanks for the follow-up.

iRex usually creates the folders. I did only copy the .png file. I believe iRex made the folder in the folder I created but I probably should check it. I will test again by moving all the files and folder to see what happens. I really believe moving the whole folder should not be necessary but what do I know. Thanks for the idea. |
