Arcs of light at the bottom of the screen

Hi,
When I read a book in the dark with the light of the Aura (10%), I see two arcs of light at the bottom of the screen. I think it's the light to illuminate the screen, but I do not know if it's a problem or not, because it's a little bit uncomfortable.
Thanks

The LEDs are at the bottom of the screen so, yes, they will be responsible for some unevenness of the light in that area.

It shouldn't be too noticeable.

There's a picture of the Aura 2 here that shows the effect https://papierlos-lesen.de/wp-conten...ng-maximal.jpg

If yours looks like that, it's normal. If yours is considerably worse than that then you can see what a normal light should look like.

Also--I'm not sure about the lighting on the Aura 2nd Edition, but I do notice on my Aura One the lighting is significantly brighter than on my previous lighted readers. 10% is too bright to be comfortable for me on my One in a dark room 5-6% seems about right. Just a thought.

It's luck of the draw for some screens, but it seems to be a bit more noticeable on some types of readers than on others. On my original Kobo Glos there are slight shadows at the bottom from the LEDs, but it's not bad or even annoying at all, it's just along the very bottom. On my Glo HDs though, you can't see any shadows at all from the LEDs.
